I spent two months in America in the summer of 2007. It's under the CIEE Work & Travel USA Program,
which is initiated by the US Department of State, to let overseas students experience the US life with temporary employment
in places like theme parks, hotels, national resorts and etc.
I was employed by an amusement park called Morey's Piers in the southest point of New Jersey. Our pay is $7.15 per hour,
just the same amount paid for the local job of the same level. But after the deduction of taxes and rent, we all have
to save hard to leave some money for traveling. But if you add more working days, although will earn more,
have less time traveling. Really a dilemma. I tried my best to travel as many places as I can. Then it turned
out I'm back in debt. I definitely not see anyone return back with the same amount of money as that he or she brought in to
America. Anyway, working really supported our traveling a lot.
Now let's get rid of the word "expensive", just listen to the fun stories I have and follow all the first experiences
I've had there~
